COVID-19: My OBGyne’s Doors Are Still Open for Gynecological Care

My OBGyne has been closely monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic as it impacts our community and patients. To flatten the curve, we’ve been focused on the health and well-being of our patients and have been doing our part to keep our community safe by continuously disinfecting our facilities. Our clinic is taking extra precautions to help stop the spread of the coronavirus while ensuring our patients receive the gynecological care services they need to stay healthy and protected.

Our office at My OBGyne is still open and seeing patients. Each of our gynecologists, obstetricians, and prenatal support specialists have been following CDC guidelines to the T, and it’s safe for you to come in for your appointments and consultations.

Online education options for prenatal care

The physicians at My OBGyne offer online education options for prenatal support and education. With our prenatal education options, we’ll work with you one-on-one so that, even during the COVID-19 pandemic with social distancing requirements, you can still play an integral part in your birthing options and in the development of your birthing plan. We understand that going through your pregnancy during a global pandemic is more than overwhelming, and we’ll be there with you every step of the way to offer parenting support and prenatal care.

Online education options for teens and pre-teens

At My OBGyne, we believe that patient education improves health, especially during the challenging transition of puberty for pre-teens and teenagers. While a gynecologist can treat someone at any age, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists recommends visiting the gynecologist between the ages of 13 and 15 to ensure your child’s health and safety as they grow.

My OBGyne is offering online education options to discuss puberty, breast development, menstrual periods, increases in height and weight, mood swings, and sex education for pre-teens and teenagers so they can get the quality care and education they need even while social distancing.

On-site gynecological care when you need it

My OBGyne understands that not all services can be offered online or via telemedicine. We want to ensure that your medical care is as convenient and safe as possible both at this time and at any other time. Our office will continue to be open for patients who need on-site gynecological care when they need it. Our on-site laboratory allows us to schedule your appointments and receive test results quickly and efficiently to offer you the best possible recommendations and treatment plans.

Whether you’re looking for prenatal care services or a caring, professional gynecologist at this time, we’ve got you covered. For more information about how My OBGyne is following CDC guidelines or to schedule an appointment with us, contact us today.
