My first career choice was veterinary medicine, but circumstances intervened and led me to nursing. My first job was in the OB unit at a small local hospital, and I found my niche. I loved it so much, helping women and families in one of the most special times of their lives, I stayed in OB for 30 years. I never thought I would be so blessed to also become a midwife. But here I am following a path blazed by a very special midwife, Janine, and I couldn’t be more excited to serve the women and families of this community.
Outside work, I enjoy hiking, trail running, and anything active. I have a husband, 2 lab dogs, 4 grown children and 11 grandchildren, the last of which I was blessed to count as my first CNM delivery! MyOBGyne is truly a special place and I’m so happy to be here.
