Vidalia M. Butler-Poku, M.D.
I’ve had the pleasure of serving in the field of obstetrics and gynecology for more than 17 years. It has been a joy caring for women in every phase of life, from conception to menopause. I feel very fortunate in knowing what I was born to do, take care of women and their health needs.
I’m the proud mom of two school-aged children, Phinehas and Hadassah, and I’m blessed to walk through life with my husband, Yaw.
I graduated from Ross University School of Medicine in 1993 and completed my residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Cook County Hospital, Chicago Ill, in 1998, serving as Chief Resident in my final year. I worked as an attending physician for six years at Corry Memorial Hospital in Corry, Pennsylvania, before moving to Arizona in 2005 where I have been an attending physician in the East and West Valley.
